New South Wales Consolidated Acts New South Wales Consolidated ActsAn authorised medical officer of a mental health facility may, subject to this Act and the Mental Health and Cognitive Impairment Forensic Provisions Act 2020 , give, or authorise the giving of, any treatment (including any medication) the officer thinks fit to an involuntary patient or assessable person detained in the facility in accordance with this Act or that Act.
