DUTIES (CROWN IMMUNITY--APPLICATION OF ACT) ORDER 1998 - NOTES

- Made under the Duties Act 1997 - As at 26 June 2009 - Reg 362 of 1998

Note:

The Order was repealed by cl 79 of Sch 1 to the Duties Act 1997 No 123 with effect from 26.6.2009.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 308 (1) of the Duties Act 1997, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

Section 308 (1) of the Duties Act 1997 provides that the Governor may, by order published in the Gazette, apply the whole or any specified provisions of the Act to any specified person or body (whether statutory or otherwise) that has Crown immunity. The specified person or body is subject to the requirements of the Act while the order is in force.
The object of this Order is to apply the whole of the Act to the bodies specified in the Order.
