Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Local Court may adjourn the hearing of an application under section 65 if, during the hearing of the application, it appears to the Local Court that the substance or thing the subject of the application is required to be produced in evidence in proceedings (which may be pending proceedings) in connection with an offence against this Act or the Regulations or against any other Act or Regulations made under any other Act.
(2) An adjournment under subsection (1) may be:
(a) made on the application of the respondent or on the Local Court's own motion; and
(b) until the conclusion of the proceedings in connection with the offence referred to in that subsection.
