FIRE AND EMERGENCY ACT 1996 - SECT 9

Powers and functions of Chief Officer

    (1)     Subject to the directions of the Commissioner, the Chief Officer has operational responsibility for the Fire and Rescue Service.

    (2)     The Chief Officer has the powers necessary to perform the Chief Officer's functions.
