Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A member of the Police Force using a police dog or police horse is required to keep the dog or horse under control to the extent that is reasonable in the circumstances.
(2) A member using a detection dog to assist in the detection of a dangerous thing must take all reasonable precautions to prevent the dog touching a person.
