Northern Territory Numbered Regulations Northern Territory Numbered RegulationsA person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure that an ignition source is not introduced into a confined space (from outside or within the space) if there is a possibility of the ignition source causing a fire or explosion in the space.
Maximum penalty:
(a) in the case of an individual – $6 000.
(b) in the case of a body corporate – $30 000.
