CHILD PROTECTION (OFFENDER REPORTING AND OFFENDER PROHIBITION ORDER) ACT 2004 - SECT 12E
Court may act on own initiative or application
12E Court may act on own initiative or application
(1) A court may make an offender reporting order— (a) on its own initiative;
or
(b) on the application of the prosecution.
(2) The prosecution may make
an application under subsection (1) (b) at any time within 6 months after the
day the court— (a) imposes the sentence for the offence; or
(b) makes the
forensic order.
