(1) This section applies if a person—(a) makes an advance health directive, or enduring power of attorney for a personal matter, relating to the person’s future treatment and care for a mental illness; or(b) appoints a nominated support person.
(2) The person may—(a) give the administrator of an authorised mental health service a copy of the directive, power of attorney or notice of appointment; and(b) ask the administrator to keep a record for the matter in the records system.
(3) The administrator must—(a) comply with the request; and(b) on complying with the request, give the person written notice confirming compliance with the request.
