MENTAL HEALTH ACT 2016 - SECT 373
Power to detain
373 Power to detain
(1) The power of the authorised person to transport the
person includes the power to detain the person.
(2) The authorised person may
exercise the power to transport the person, including the power to detain the
person, with the help, and using the force, that is necessary and reasonable
in the circumstances.
