RECREATION AREAS MANAGEMENT ACT 2006 - SECT 132
Unauthorised landing of aircraft
132 Unauthorised landing of aircraft
(1) A person must not land an aircraft in a recreation area, other than on a
designated landing area, unless the landing is authorised by— (a) the chief
executive’s written approval; or
(b) a permit, agreement or other authority
under the Forestry Act 1959 , the Marine Parks Act 1982 or the
Nature Conservation Act 1992 .
Penalty— Maximum penalty—120 penalty
units
(2) In this section—
"designated landing area" , for an aircraft or a type of aircraft, means the
area— (a) designated by the chief executive as an appropriate landing area
for the aircraft; and
(b) details of which are published on the
department’s website.
