UNIFORM CIVIL PROCEDURE RULES 1999 - REG 50
Applications heard at a different location
50 Applications heard at a different location
(1) If— (a) an application in a proceeding would ordinarily be made to the
court at a particular registry; and
(b) there is no judge of the court at the
registry available to hear and decide the application;
nothing in this part
prevents a person making the application in the proceeding to the court at
another registry.
(2) If— (a) an application in a proceeding would
ordinarily be made to a particular Magistrates Court; and
(b) there is no
magistrate at the court available to hear and decide the application;
nothing
in this part prevents a person making the application in the proceeding to
another Magistrates Court.
