UNIFORM CIVIL PROCEDURE RULES 1999 - REG 789
Registrar may give directions
789 Registrar may give directions
(1) The registrar of the court to which an
appeal is made may— (a) give directions about the documents and number of
copies to be filed and served on another party to the appeal; and
(b) require
the parties to attend at a conference for the purpose of identifying and
assembling for convenient access by the court all documents on which the
parties wish to rely in the appeal.
(2) Directions given by the registrar
under subrule (1) must be consistent with the court’s practice directions.
