Effect of leave to withdraw as solicitor
992 Effect of leave to withdraw as solicitor
(1) If a solicitor withdraws
from the record, the client’s residential or business address becomes the
address for service until— (a) another solicitor is appointed; or
(b) the
client notifies another address for service in compliance with these rules.
(2) The withdrawal of a solicitor under this rule does not affect a right or
obligation arising out of the solicitor’s retainer by the client.
