Interference with water to improve security for town water supply
80 Interference with water to improve security for town water supply
(1) This section applies if the proposed interference with water is to provide
improved security for town water supplies taken under an authorisation.
(2)

such as demand and drought management strategies, in place; and
(b) there is
a demonstrated need for an increased reliability of the water supply.
(3) In
deciding the application the chief executive must consider the matters
mentioned in section 27 (1) (d) .
(4) Subsection (3) does not limit the
matters the chief executive may consider.
