185B Non-voting members of executive committee(1) The following persons are, without further election or appointment, members of the executive committee of a body corporate—(a) a body corporate manager appointed by the body corporate;(b) a caretaking service contractor engaged by the body corporate.(2) Subsection (1) applies even though the person is not an electable person for the body corporate.(3) A person who is a member of an executive committee under this section is not entitled to vote at a meeting of the executive committee.(4) Subsection (3) applies even if the person is a member of the body corporate or a nominee of a corporation that is a member of the body corporate.(5) A person who is a member of an executive committee under this section is not to be counted—(a) under section 185(4) for determining the number of members of the executive committee; or(b) under section 188(1) for determining whether a quorum is constituted at a meeting of the executive committee.
