LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND OTHER LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2005 No. 54 - SECT 26

(1) Section 491(1)(b)--

omit, insert--

'(b) non-current assets other than land with an apparent value of equal to or above the amount set by the local government.'.

(2) Section 491(2) to (4)--

renumber as section 491(3) to (5).

(3) Section 491--

insert--

'(2) The set amount must not be more than the threshold amount for the value of non-current assets of the local government.11'.

(4) Section 491(3), as renumbered, 'A local government'--

omit, insert--

'The local government'.

(5) Section 491(3), as renumbered, 'goods'--

omit, insert--

'non-current assets'.
