Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) The principles to be applied by persons performing functions or exercising powers under this Act for a matter in relation to an adult with impaired capacity for the matter are stated in the Guardianship Act, schedule 1 (the general principles and, for a health matter or a special health matter, the health care principle).
(2) Persons performing functions or exercising powers under this Act for a matter in relation to an adult with impaired capacity must also have regard to the acknowledgements stated in the Guardianship Act, section 5 when performing the functions or exercising the powers.
