138 Form of authorisation

(1) The authorisation of a person as a letting agent is void if the authorisation does not comply with the requirements stated in subsection (2) .

(2) The authorisation must be in writing and state the term of the authorisation, including—

(a) when the term begins and when it ends; and

(b) the term of any right or option of extension or renewal of the authorisation.
