25 Amendment of s 128 (Requirement to remove unlawful registration item)

(1) Section 128 (1) (d) , ‘ section 102 (4) ’—
omit, insert—
section 102

(2) Section 128 —
insert —

(1A) If a requirement is made under subsection (1)(a), on the basis that section 127(2)(h)(ii) applies, or under subsection (1)(b), (c) or (d), the authorised officer must advise the person that if the person does not comply with the requirement at the time it is made the officer may, under section 128A, remove and recover the number plates attached to the vehicle.

(3) Section 128 (1A) to (3) —
renumber as section 128 (2) to (4) .
