South Australian Current Acts South Australian Current Acts58—Provision as to President, Speaker, and officers
(1) The salary of the
President of the Legislative Council shall be at least equal to the salary of
the Speaker of the House of Assembly; and the salaries and allowances of the
officers of the Legislative Council shall be the same as those of the
corresponding officers of the House of Assembly.
(2) The Chief Clerk
for the time being of the Legislative Council, and of the House of Assembly
shall respectively be removable from office only in accordance with a vote of
the House of which he or she is an officer.
