(1) The parties may
appear or act in person, or may be represented by another person of their
choice, in any oral hearings under section 24.
(2) A person who is
not admitted to practise as a legal practitioner in South Australia does not
commit an offence under or breach the provisions of the
Legal Practitioners Act 1981 or any other Act merely by representing a
party in arbitral proceedings in this State.
