CROWN RATES AND TAXES RECOVERY ACT 1945 - SECT 15

15—Receipt of Minister or Director of Lands a discharge

The receipt in writing of the Minister or the Director of Lands shall be a sufficient discharge for any money paid on the exercise of the power of sale conferred by this Act, and a person paying the same to the Minister shall not be concerned to inquire whether any money remains due to any Crown rating or taxing authority or to any municipal council or district council for Crown rates or taxes or other rates in respect of the land sold.
