South Australian Current Acts South Australian Current Acts17D—Insurance cover to be provided by Minister
(1) The Minister must
provide insurance, upon such terms and conditions as the Minister thinks fit,
for offenders in respect of death or injury arising out of, or occurring in
the course of, community service performed pursuant to any Act.
(2) The Minister must
provide insurance, upon such terms and conditions as the Minister thinks fit,
for persons appointed as voluntary supervisors of offenders performing
community service pursuant to any Act in respect of death or injury arising
out of, or occurring in the course of, carrying out their duties as
supervisors.
(3) The cost of
providing insurance cover under this section will be borne by the Crown.
