(1) There will be a
Registrar of the central assessment unit.
(2) The Minister will
appoint a Public Service employee to be the Registrar.
(3) The Minister may
assign a Public Service employee to act as the Registrar—
(a)
during a vacancy in the office of Registrar; or
(b) when
the Registrar is absent from, or unable to discharge, official duties.
(4) The functions of
the Registrar are—
(a) to
ensure that records or registers required under this Act are properly kept and
maintained; and
(b) to
discharge any duties under this or any other Act relating to financial and
annual reports; and
(c) such
other functions as may be conferred on the Registrar by the
central assessment unit, the Minister or under this or any other Act.
