45—Misrepresentations relating to working with children check
(1) A person must not
falsely represent that—
(a) a
working with children check has been conducted in relation to the person
within the preceding 5 years; or
(b) the
person is not prohibited from working with children.
Maximum penalty: $50 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.
(2) A person must not
falsely represent that—
(a) a
working with children check has, or has not, been conducted in relation to a
specified person within the preceding 5 years; or
(b) a
specified person is, or is not, prohibited from working with children.
Maximum penalty: $50 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.
