If an application is made to the Magistrates Court under any provision of this
Act (other than an application under section 49(2)), the
Magistrates Court Act 1991 applies, with such modifications as may be
necessary for the purpose or as may be prescribed, in relation to the
application as if the proceedings were a minor civil action within the meaning
of that Act.
