36—Explosives to be landed at the place appointed for the purpose
(1) No explosives
shall be landed or shipped in any port in South Australia, other than at such
landing places or shipping places as are appointed for that purpose by the
Minister of Marine.
(2) A person who lands
or attempts to land, or ships or attempts to ship, explosives contrary to this
section is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty:
(a) in
the case of a body corporate—$35 000;
(b) in
any other case—$5 000 or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
