14—Electoral districts
(1) For the purposes
of this Act—
(a) the
whole of the State constitutes the Legislative Council electoral district; and
(b) the
State is divided into House of Assembly electoral districts in accordance with
the Constitution Act 1934 .
(2) Each House of
Assembly electoral district constitutes a division of the Legislative Council
electoral district.
(4) If a by-election
is to be held in a House of Assembly electoral district—
(a) the
district will be taken to be as it existed at the previous general election of
members of the House of Assembly; and
(b) the
electoral rolls must be prepared for the purposes of the by-election
accordingly.
