39C—Commencement and effect of registered corresponding declaration
(1) A registered
corresponding declaration—
(a)
comes into force in this State on the day after the day on which notice of the
registration of the declaration is published in the Gazette in accordance with
section 39B(2); and
(b)
remains in force in this State until 1 of the following occurs:
(i)
the registration of the declaration expires in accordance
with section 39A(2);
(ii)
the registration of the declaration is cancelled under
Division 3.
(2) If a registered
corresponding declaration has come into force under this section, the
registered corresponding declaration has effect in this State as if it were a
declaration made under Part 2 (but the provisions of Part 2, other than
sections 20 and 21, do not apply in relation to the registered
corresponding declaration).
