This legislation has been repealed.
11—Validity of acts of the council and immunity from liability of
members
(1) An act or decision
of the council shall not be invalid by reason of a vacancy in its membership
or any defect in the appointment of a person to the council.
(2) No liability shall
attach to a member of the council for any act or omission by him, or
the council, in good faith and in the exercise of his or its powers or
functions, or in the discharge of his or its duties, under this Act.
(3) Any liability that
would, but for subsection (2), lie against a member of the council shall
lie against the Crown.
