CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION BILL (NO. 1) 2018 BILL 16 OF 2018

                              CLAUSE NOTES
               Consolidated Fund Appropriation Bill (No. 1) 2018

Clause 1   This clause provides for the Short title of the Act to be the Consolidated Fund
           Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2018. This title makes it clear that the Act relates
           to 2018-19.
Clause 2   This clause provides for the commencement of the Act from 1 July 2018. This
           commencement date facilitates the appropriation of the funds concerned for
           2018-19.
Clause 3   This clause provides for the appropriation of $4 757 600 000 out of the
           Consolidated Fund, to be applied for the services of the Government.

Clause 4   This clause applies the sum of $4 757 600 000 specified in Clause 3 for the
           purposes specified in Schedule 1.
Clause 5   This clause provides for the expiry of the Act on 30 June 2020.
