REPEAL OF REGULATIONS POSTPONEMENT (NO. 2) BILL 52 OF 2010

      Repeal of Regulations Postponement Bill (No.2) 2010

                              CLAUSE NOTES

Clause 1   This Act may be sited as the Repeal of Regulations Postponement bill (No. 2)
           2010.

Clause 2   Commencement

           The Act will commence on the day it receives Royal Assent.

Clause 3   Postponement of repeals

           Postpones the repeal of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of
           Use) Regulations 1996 and the Workplace Health and Safety Regulations
           1998 to 1 January 2012 but provides that they may still be rescinded at any
           time prior.

Clause 4   Administration of the Act

           The Minister for Primary Industries and Water will administer the Act through
           the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.

Clause 5   Expiry of Act

           2 January 2012. As of that date it will cease to have any purpose.
