REPEAL OF REGULATIONS POSTPONEMENT BILL 2014
CLAUSE NOTES
Clause 1 Short title and citation.
Clause 2 Provides for the Repeal of Regulations Postponement Act 2014
to commence on Royal Assent.
Clause 3 Provides that the regulations in the Schedule to the Act that
are due to be repealed on 29 December 2014 are postponed
until 1 January 2016, but does not prevent any of the
regulations from being rescinded prior to that date. This
clause also defines the term `staged repeals' for the purposes
of the Act.
Clause 4 Provides for the administration of the Act by the Minister for
Racing and the Department of State Growth.
Clause 5 Provides for the automatic expiry of the Act on
2 January 2016, this being the day after the day to which the
regulations in the Schedule to the Act will have been
extended by the Act.

Lists the regulations whose repeal is to be postponed.
