    REPEAL OF REGULATIONS POSTPONEMENT BILL (NO.2) 2012


                             CLAUSE NOTES




Clause 1   Short title and citation.




Clause 2   The Act commences on Royal Assent.




Clause 3   Provides that the regulations in the Schedule to the Act that are
           due to be repealed on the dates specified in the Schedule, are
           postponed until 1 July 2013, but does not prevent any of the
           regulations from being repealed prior to that date.
 
 
Clause 4   The administration of the Act is assigned to the Minister for
           Sustainable Transport and the Department of Infrastructure,
           Energy and Resources.




Clause 5   The Act is to expire on 2 July 2013.
 
 
SCHEDULE 1 ­ POSTPONEMENT OF REPEALS

The schedule lists the regulations whose repeal is to be postponed and the
date on which their repeal is to be effected.
