POISONS REGULATIONS 2018 - REG 24

Prescription for certain narcotic substances to be issued only on authority of Secretary

A medical practitioner must not, without the authority of the Secretary, issue a prescription for, or supply to a patient, the following narcotic substances, namely:
(a) amphetamine;
(b) cannabis;
(c) dexamphetamine;
(d) dextromoramide;
(da) esketamine;
(e) fentanyl, except in the case of a patient with cancer;
(f) hydromorphone;
(g) ketamine;
(h) lisdexamfetamine;
(i) methadone;
(j) methylamphetamine;
(k) methylphenidate;
(l) nabiximols;
(la) N,α-dimethyl-3,4-(methylenedioxy)methamphetamine (MDMA);
(m) pethidine;
(n) phenmetrazine;
(na) psilocybine;
(o) tetrahydrocannabinol.
Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
