(1) An employee is not to be absent from duty, without leave, unless reasonable cause for that absence is shown.(2) An employee who is absent from duty for a period of 14 days without notifying the employees Head of Agency is taken to have abandoned the employees employment.(3) If an employee is prevented by sickness or any other emergency from attending to duty, the employee is to immediately report the fact to the relevant Head of Agency or the employees manager or supervisor.
