(1) A person must not advertise a chiropractic or osteopathic practice or chiropractic or osteopathic services in a manner that (a) is or is intended to be false or misleading; or(b) offers a discount, gift or other inducement to attract patients unless the advertisement also sets out the conditions of the offer; or(c) refers to or cites actual or purported testimonials; or(d) unfavourably compares another chiropractic or osteopathic practice or other chiropractic or osteopathic services with that practice or those services.Penalty: In the case of (a) a body corporate a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units; or(b) an individual a fine not exceeding 25 penalty units.(2) A person who, in good faith, publishes or prints an advertisement that contravenes subsection (1) on behalf of another person is not guilty of an offence under that subsection.
