In this Part –

steer axle means an axle that is –

(a) fitted to a motor vehicle; and

(b) fitted with 2 tyres; and

(c) connected to a steering mechanism;

ADR 80/01 means the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 80/01 – Emission Control for Heavy Vehicles) 2005 published by virtue of the Motor Vehicles Standards Act 1989 of the Commonwealth, as amended from time to time.
