MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING ACT 2022 - SECT 193

Duration of treatment order

The Mental Health Tribunal must specify the period of a treatment order, which must not exceed—

        (a)     if the person is 18 years of age or over, 6 months; or

        (b)     if the person is under 18 years of age, 3 months.
