Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A person must not give information to the Business Licensing Authority, the Director, the Victorian Building Authority, an inspector or an assessment entity that the person knows or believes to be false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: In the case of a natural person, 60 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 300 penalty units.
(2) A person must not produce a document to an inspector under this Act that the person knows to be false or misleading in a material particular without indicating the respect in which it is false or misleading and, if practicable, providing correct information.
Penalty: In the case of a natural person, 60 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 300 penalty units.
