JUSTICE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (PROTECTIVE SERVICES OFFICERS) ACT 2011 (NO. 43 OF 2011) - SECT 41

    (1)     In section 62(1) of the Road Safety Act 1986 after "police force" insert ", or a protective services officer on duty at a designated place,".

    (2)     In section 62(1)(c) of the Road Safety Act 1986 for "the member of the police force" substitute "the member or officer".

    (3)     In section 62(1A) of the Road Safety Act 1986 after "police force" insert "or a protective services officer".

    (4)     In section 62(3) of the Road Safety Act 1986 —

        (a)     after "police force" (where first occurring) insert "or a protective services officer";

        (b)     after "police force" (where secondly occurring) insert "or any protective services officer";

        (c)     after "that member" insert "or officer".

    (5)     In section 62(4) of the Road Safety Act 1986 after "police force" insert "or the protective services officer".
