(1) If the
Commissioner is satisfied that the incorporation of an association should not
have been cancelled under this Part, and the association has not become
incorporated under any other Act or law, the Commissioner may in writing
reinstate its incorporation under this section.
(2) If an
association’s incorporation is reinstated under this section, the body
corporate previously established by this Act in relation to the association
is, as from the time of reinstatement, taken to have continued in existence as
if the association’s incorporation had not been cancelled.
(3) The Commissioner
may cause notice of a reinstatement under subsection (1) to be published in
the Gazette if the Commissioner considers that public notification of the
reinstatement is desirable.
(4) The regulations
may make provision of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the
reinstatement of an association’s incorporation under this section.
