(1) This section
applies to a person if it appears to the Commissioner that the person is or
may be the holder of an office provided for by the rules of an incorporated
association.
(2) The Commissioner
may, by notice served on the person, require the person, within the time
specified in the notice, to lodge with the Commissioner in writing —
(a)
particulars of the person’s residential address; and
(b) a
statement showing —
(i)
whether or not the person holds or has held the office
specified in the Commissioner’s notice; and
(ii)
if the person has held the office, when the person ceased
to hold it.
(3) A person must
comply with any requirement made of the person by a notice under subsection
(2).
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
