(1) The Board has all
the powers it needs to perform its functions.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1), the Board may, for the purpose of performing its functions
—
(a)
acquire, hold, manage, improve, develop and dispose of any real or personal
property; and
(b)
enter into leases, contracts and arrangements; and
(c)
provide, take and arrange security; and
(d)
employ and engage staff; and
(e)
charge fees for the services it provides; and
(f) if
an external investigation is carried out as a result of a request from the
Legal Contribution Trust under section 103(1)(d) — require the Trust to
pay all or part of the costs of the investigation; and
(g) do
anything incidental to any of its powers.
