UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA ACT 1911 - SECT 13

13 .         Appointment of officers and management of affairs

                Subject to this Act, any relevant written law, any relevant industrial award or industrial agreement and the Statutes, the Senate may from time to time appoint deans, professors, lecturers, examiners, and other officers and employees of the University, and shall have the entire control and management of the affairs and concerns of the University, and may act in all matters concerning the University in such manner as appears to it best calculated to promote the interests of the University.
