(1) The Complaints
Committee may request a corresponding authority to arrange for the
investigation of any aspect of a complaint being dealt with by the Complaints
Committee, or any aspect of the conduct of an Australian legal practitioner
being investigated by the Complaints Committee in the absence of a complaint,
and to provide a report on the result of the investigation.
(2) A report on the
result of the investigation received from —
(a) the
corresponding authority; or
(b) a
person or body authorised by the corresponding authority to conduct the
investigation,
may be used and taken
into consideration by the Complaints Committee and the State Administrative
Tribunal in the course of dealing with the complaint or conduct under this
Part.
