(1) On or before
31 December in each year the Board must make and submit to the Attorney
General an annual report of its proceedings for the preceding year ending on
30 June together with a copy of the financial statements and the
auditor’s report.
(2) The annual report
must include details of —
(a) the
number, nature, and outcome of —
(i)
inquiries undertaken by the Board; and
(ii)
matters that have been brought before the State
Administrative Tribunal by the Board under this Act;
and
(b) the
number and nature of matters referred to in paragraph (a) that are
outstanding; and
(c) any
trends or special problems that may have emerged; and
(d) a
forecast of the workload of the Board in the year after the year to which the
report relates; and
(e) any
proposals for improving the operation of the Board.
(3) The executive
officer of the State Administrative Tribunal must provide the Board with
information it may request for the purpose of making its annual report.
(4) The Attorney
General must within 14 days after the day on which a copy of an annual
report, financial statement or auditor’s report is received by the
Attorney General cause a copy of the report or statement to be laid before
each House of Parliament or dealt with under section 595.
(5) The Board may from
time to time report to the Attorney General its views as to the jurisdiction
conferred and the carrying out of the functions required by Part 13, or
any matter connected with that jurisdiction or that Part.
