(1) The Governor may
make regulations for or with respect to any matter or thing that is required
or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed to
give effect to this Act.
(2) Without limiting
the generality of subsection (1), the Governor may make
regulations —
(a)
providing for fees; and
(b)
imposing a penalty for a contravention of a regulation, not exceeding a fine
of $5 000.
(3) Without limiting
the generality of subsection (1), the Governor may make regulations for
or with respect to matters for or with respect to which admission rules or
legal profession rules have been or may be made.
(4) A regulation may
provide that an application may be made to the State Administrative Tribunal
for a review of a specified decision or class of decisions made by a specified
person or body in the exercise of functions conferred or imposed under the
regulations.
