Western Australian Numbered Acts Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) Subject to
section 18, a member of the Board holds office for such term, not
exceeding 3 years, as is specified in the member’s instrument of
appointment.
(2) Subject to
subsection (3), a member of the Board is not to hold office for more than
9 years, consecutively or otherwise.
(3) If in the opinion
of the Minister there are special reasons for doing so, a person may be
appointed so that he or she holds office for more than 9 years,
consecutively or otherwise.
