Western Australian Numbered Acts Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) Where the
registration of premises is cancelled or not renewed under section 46,
the person in whose name the premises were registered immediately before the
cancellation or non-renewal is, within 14 days after the day on which the
person is notified by the Board of the cancellation or non-renewal, to
surrender to the Board the certificate of registration of the premises.
Penalty: a fine of $1 000.
(2) The Board may
direct in writing that a person in whose name premises were registered is not
obliged to comply with subsection (1) and, in that case the subsection
does not apply in respect of that person.
